What exactly is "Soft Washing," and how does it differ from pressure washing?

Standard pressure washing relies on mechanical force (high PSI) to "blast" surface contaminants. This often results in collateral damage to shingle granules, window seals, and delicate masonry. Soft Washing is a chemical-not-mechanical process. We utilize high-volume, low-pressure delivery systems (under 100 PSI) to apply biodegradable surfactants that neutralize organic growth at the root, ensuring a deeper clean and longer-lasting results without structural trauma.

Is your process safe for my landscaping and the local watershed?

Architectural stewardship extends to the surrounding ecosystem. We utilize a strict Plant Protection Protocol (PPP) which includes pre-wetting all foliage, applying organic neutralizers to the soil, and using physical barriers where necessary. All solutions are biodegradable and break down into basic carbon and salt. We also utilize specialized reclamation gear to manage runoff, ensuring compliance with Lake Washington environmental standards.

How long do the results typically last?

Because we kill the biological spores rather than just "mowing" them with water, our results typically last 2 to 3 times longer than traditional pressure washing. Depending on your property's canopy cover and moisture exposure, a Rose Gold treatment generally keeps a surface free of organic growth for 24 to 36 months.

Specific Material Care

Can you safely clean Cedar Shake or Slate roofing?

Yes. These materials are particularly vulnerable to high-pressure water, which can cause wood scarring or slate fracturing. Our low-pressure protocols are specifically designed for high-end substrates. We focus on neutralizing the Gloeocapsa Magma (black streaks) and moss that compromise these roofs, extending their functional lifespan significantly.

Do you handle historic masonry and custom stone?

Historic brick, bluestone, and cobblestone require a delicate touch. High pressure can strip the protective "patina" of stone or damage aging mortar joints. Our soft wash solutions lift deep-seated environmental film and biological staining from the pores of the stone without the risk of "etching" or erosion.

Are you equipped for commercial properties and HOAs?

Absolutely. We offer Master Service Agreements (MSAs) for commercial storefronts, boutique retail, and multi-unit estates. We understand the logistical needs of property managers, including after-hours scheduling and documented environmental compliance.

Do I need to be home during the assessment or service?

For the initial Technical Site Audit, your presence is not required as long as we have perimeter access. Following our audit, you will receive a digital report of our findings. For the service itself, we only require that all windows are closed and outdoor pets are secured.
